Know where your work lives.

Local by default

Importing, filling, organizing and exporting documents happens in your browser. The local editor does not upload document contents. No LLM, advertising or analytics provider receives your filenames, answers or signatures. Hosting providers receive ordinary connection and request information.

Optional private cloud saving

Signing in does not upload your document. Choosing Save work and confirming consent uploads your original source files, edits and a page preview. Further changes to that saved project autosave. Project data is private to your account, stored in object storage with server-side ownership checks. It is not end-to-end encrypted.

The free allowance is five saved documents, 100 MB total and 20 MB per document including the preview. Paid storage plans are not offered during the free launch. You can always reopen and download existing work when storage is full. Sign in with Google or Microsoft to save cloud changes.

Accounts and sign-in

Sign in through Google (Gmail) or Microsoft (Outlook/Hotmail). Filezumi does not collect a password or send a separate email-verification message. Your provider authenticates your account; secure session cookies keep you signed in. Documents are uploaded only with your consent. Accounts are not automatically merged because email addresses match.

Deletion and retention

Deleting a project removes its stored sources and preview before removing its database record. Replacing a saved version removes the previous file objects; no user-accessible version history is retained. Deleting your account removes its cloud files and associated account records. The interface reports a failed deletion so you can retry. Cloud infrastructure may retain operational backups according to the hosting provider’s retention practices; this app cannot promise immediate removal from provider backups.

Browser storage and limits

Unsaved documents normally live only in tab memory. Download before refreshing or closing. Google sign-in temporarily stores the current project on this device to restore it after the redirect. It is read and removed on return; expired recovery data is discarded after one hour when the editor next opens. This temporary storage is not a cloud upload.

The editor supports 60 pages and 100 MB of original files, including sources held for undo. Images are limited to 3,200 pixels on their long edge. Saved projects retain the supported source and editor state. PDF forms (including compatible I-864 files), annotations, page organization and browser-readable images are supported. DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, ODT, ODS, ODP, TXT, CSV, HTML, RTF and structured text import as editable text pages; original layout, pictures, charts and live formulas are not retained. Other formats need conversion to PDF or a supported format. Document-tool downloads are PDF; replacing existing PDF page text is not supported.

Review your export

Compression and paper-size conversion rasterize the output and can reduce readability. Combining or extracting form pages fixes field appearances onto the page. A complete single-source PDF retains standard editable fields. Compatibility forms retain their original fields for fields-only edits; annotations or page changes flatten those form pages into visual copies. Crop and highlight are not secure redaction. Visual signatures are not digital certificates. Review the downloaded document before submitting.

Local processing and allowances

Image exports and scans are processed on your device and have no usage-count limit. Advanced OCR runs locally and is limited to five page operations per week. Batch image ZIP processing is paused during the free launch; single-image resizing and conversion remain available. Local editing and downloads are not usage-capped.

Camera access begins only after you choose Take photo. Only video is requested, not microphone access. The camera stops when captured, canceled, replaced by an upload, or the scanner is closed. Camera frames and image conversions stay on your device. Canvas exports omit source metadata. Unsupported source formats need conversion in the original app.
