A document tool you can trust. What stays private Files, filenames, answers and signatures are processed in your browser. Document data is uploaded only when you explicitly choose cloud saving. No LLM, analytics or ad network runs in this editor. The hosting service receives ordinary page requests and can require sign-in for a private preview.
What you can edit Office and text imports become editable text pages; pictures, charts, formulas and original layout are not preserved. Export to PDF in the original app first for exact layout. Legacy DOC/XLS/PPT, HEIC/TIFF and unsupported formats need conversion. Downloads are PDF. Fill standard text, multiline, checkbox, radio, dropdown and list form fields. Add text, highlights, checkmarks, drawings or signature images. Combine, extract, split, reorder, rotate and crop pages. Added text is an annotation, not a change to existing text objects. Scans have no ordinary editable text.
Know the limits before starting 100 MB of source files and 60 pages per workspace. Photos use up to 3,200 pixels on their long edge. Password-free PDFs that permit form filling, including hybrid forms such as I-864, use compatibility mode. Password-locked, XFA-only and digitally signed files need an unlocked, standard, unsigned PDF copy. Unsupported fields stay read-only. Missing source fonts may render differently; review your final PDF. Added text supports bundled Noto Sans, Noto Serif and Noto Sans Mono fonts; unsupported characters are flagged rather than silently lost.
Export behavior A full, single-source PDF keeps standard editable form fields. Combining or extracting pages fixes field appearances onto the pages while retaining ordinary PDF text. Opt-in image compression and paper-size conversion flatten the whole document. Compression may miss a target or reduce readability. Crops and highlights never count as secure redaction.
Keep your work Undo and redo cover the last 40 actions. Download before leaving: refreshing or closing the tab clears the workspace. Google sign-in temporarily stores your current project on this device so it can survive the redirect. Optional cloud projects autosave after consent. See the privacy page for storage and retention details. Visual signatures are not cryptographic signatures. Preflight checks are technical checks, not a judgment about the validity of an application.
Always free There is no checkout, subscription, account requirement in the app, or watermark. No paid features are enabled. Scanning includes 50 pages weekly per browser; core PDF edits and downloads have no weekly allowance. Scanner allowances reset weekly; local editing and downloads are unrestricted.
